The whole building, being put together by Him, grows into a holy sanctuary in the Lord. You also are being built together for God’s dwelling in the Spirit.
— Ephesians 2:21-22 (HCSV)

Namihan Christian Church’s previous building was very typical of the poor condition of many village churches in northwest Myanmar.

Lallim Christian Church is an example of one of the new buildings that MyHope has constructed during the past several years.

How you can help

There are still dozens of small churches that need significant upgrades or maintenance. Most small village churches are cheaply made with lumber, bamboo, and thatch. These materials do not do well at keeping out the elements, such as wind and rain.

In addition, these materials wear out quickly and must be replaced on a regular basis, but most small congregations are too poor to pay for the materials and labor needed.

You can help by providing funds to help rebuild or repair a church building using bricks, concrete, and steel, and provide a secure place for these Christians to worship God for years to come.

Depending on the size of the building, a new church construction project can be finished for anywhere between $15,000 and $20,000 US.

Any amount you donate toward church construction or renovation will be greatly appreciated!
